in-line Skate wheels

When aggressive skating you’ll want to go for a wheel with a flatter profile up to 60mm. Smaller sized wheels offer faster acceleration and a flatter wheel helps provide a larger surface for more stable landings.

When it comes to durometer (hardness of the wheel) a softer hardness will offer better grip and faster acceleration on smooth surfaces and on rough ground will also help absorb shock , But this will also wear down quicker and may chunk if used too much on very rough surfaces. When skating concrete parks or street a harder wheel of 90a and higher will help with durability.

When skating for fitness or recreation you’ll want to choose a wheel larger than 70mm with a more rounded or bullet profile. This  will assist with speed and maneuverability. Lower hardnesses will offer a smoother ride. A hardness of around 84a is perfect for skating outdoors. This offers a good combination of durability and speed.
